Requirements

Candidates must possess 12+ years of hands-on engineering experience, with at least 5-6 years focused on building AI/ML models and systems. A minimum of 1 year of experience in developing Generative AI (LLM) applications using techniques like prompt engineering, RAG, and/or agents is required. Expertise in architecting GenAI applications/systems with various frameworks and cloud services, good proficiency in Azure, GCP, or AWS cloud services, and expert programming skills in Python, Langchain/Langgraph, and SQL are essential. Experience in driving engineering teams toward a technical roadmap and excellent communication skills for collaborating with business SMEs are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The GenAI Engineering Manager will build and own the technical roadmap based on business requirements, leading the engineering team to ensure timely execution and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing LLM-based solutions through design, training, fine-tuning, and deployment using prompt engineering, RAG, and agent-based architectures. The role involves codebase ownership with a focus on Python (LangChain/LangGraph) and SQL, ensuring quality, efficiency, scalability, and performance. Additionally, the manager will aid in deploying GenAI applications on cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS), collaborating cross-functionally with product owners, data scientists, and business SMEs, providing technical leadership and mentoring to the team, and staying updated on the latest LLM research for continuous innovation.
