About the Role

Turing is seeking individuals with LLM experience to contribute to solving business challenges for our Fortune 500 clients. As a key member of the Turing GenAI delivery organization, you will be an integral part of a GenAI project, collaborating with a diverse team of Turing engineers. Our GenAI delivery organization has a proven track record of implementing industry-leading multi-agent LLM systems, RAG systems, and Open Source LLM deployments for major enterprises.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional hands-on engineering experience, with at least 5-6+ years in building AI/ML models & systems.
• 1+ year of experience in developing Generative AI (LLM) applications using techniques such as prompt engineering, RAG, and/or agents.
• Expertise in architecting GenAI applications/systems using various frameworks & cloud services.
• Good proficiency in utilizing cloud services from Azure, GCP, or AWS for building GenAI applications.
• Expert proficiency in programming skills in Python, Langchain/Langgraph, and SQL is mandatory.
• Experience in guiding engineering teams towards a technical roadmap.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with business SMEs.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Technical Roadmap Development: Build and own the technical roadmap based on business requirements, ensuring timely execution to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Team Leadership: Lead the engineering team, guiding them towards the technical roadmap and ensuring successful, on-time delivery.
• LLM Solution Development: Lead the design, training, fine-tuning, and deployment of large language models, utilizing techniques like prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent-based architectures.
• Codebase Ownership: Maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable code in Python (using frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph) and SQL, focusing on reusable components and performance best practices.
• Cloud Integration: Assist in deploying GenAI applications on cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS), optimizing resource usage, and ensuring robust CI/CD processes.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, data scientists, and business SMEs to define project requirements, translate technical details, and deliver impactful AI products.
• Mentoring and Guidance: Provide technical leadership and knowledge sharing to the engineering team, promoting best practices in machine learning and large language model development.
• Continuous Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in LLM research and generative AI, proposing and experimenting with emerging techniques to drive ongoing improvements.
