Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 to 10+ years of working experience in FMCG (retailer/marketing/sales) or research-related industry (insights/category/shopper/agency)
  • Demonstrates strong ability to understand technical aspects on FMCG industry briefs and own end-to-end proposal development
  • Understanding of analysis tools and data interpretation
  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills, and an understanding of data-based consultative selling
  • Able to operate in a multi-cultural environment and handle multiple stakeholders internally and externally

Responsibilities

  • Lead all commercial aspects for an assigned group of clients to grow the existing clientele base and identify new business to achieve planned financial objectives and operational performance indicators
  • Achieve revenue, profitability, quality, speed of delivery, productivity, and client satisfaction targets, as well as other related business development objectives
  • Maintain and foster relationships with current clients
  • Develop plans to cross-sell and introduce new services to current clients
  • Conduct thorough business development processes to identify incremental revenue opportunities from new clients
  • Provide continuous feedback on competitive activities within assigned clients
  • Hold end-to-end commercial responsibility for Sales Force Activation solutions to help clients expand and optimize channel distribution and execute perfect store strategy
  • Contribute to short-term strategies and business plans for Business Unit growth based on global and regional directions
  • Lead and manage regional reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate communication of performance metrics and strategic updates to regional leadership
  • Ensure local business strategies are implemented according to regional/sub-regional directions to meet financial and business objectives
  • Monitor actual financial performance against budget/forecast and implement actions to achieve financial targets
  • Ensure proper pricing and contracts are completed and approved according to company policies and guidelines
  • Manage P&L responsibilities, ensuring profitability and strategic resource allocation
  • Implement Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to maximize client satisfaction and ensure continuous profitable growth
  • Expand scope of influence with clients across a wider range of products and greater depth of involvement
  • Foster relationships at all levels and functions of the client organization to identify opportunities for incremental product/solution sales
  • Ensure adherence to company policies on business conduct/ethics when servicing clients
  • Identify client needs through situation/competitor assessment, need assessment, and potential solutions
  • Participate in creation of Product Enhancement (PE) plan & timeline, communicating the voice of the client
  • Develop pricing proposal & commercial approach with Leaders
  • Support communication of new products and their benefits to clients
  • Participate in local and cluster initiatives as part of continuing leadership development
  • Work across functional business units to support organizational initiatives and business needs
  • Promote inter-departmental and inter-divisional communications and teamwork
