Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, along with at least one year of experience working with healthcare data, including familiarity with claims, clinical, or operational datasets. One year of demonstrated experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in real-world applications is required, as well as proficiency in Python and common data science libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, and NumPy. Familiarity with SQL and large-scale relational databases, and cloud-based data tools such as Redshift, Athena, S3, SageMaker, and Github are also desired.

Responsibilities

The Associate Data Scientist will manage and execute projects across a diverse customer portfolio, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. They will design and develop machine learning models for both internal initiatives and client-specific use cases, evaluate and monitor model performance, and present findings and insights to clients. This role involves establishing oneself as a subject matter expert on Arcadia’s analytics platform, proactively engaging with customers to understand their data needs, and driving multiple concurrent projects in collaboration with client stakeholders, consistently delivering expert guidance and impactful results.
