Requirements

  • 2 or more years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or similar environment
  • A J.D. and active membership in at least one state bar
  • Experience with commercial negotiation and drafting skills
  • Good judgment and an ability to learn quickly with minimal guidance
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage projects effectively
  • Knowledge of relevant state and international privacy laws including CCPA and GDPR (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements involving the company’s products and services including nondisclosure agreements and sales agreements
  • Work directly with the sales team to complete sales negotiations swiftly while still protecting the company
  • Negotiate vendor agreements
  • Draft, update and maintain form agreements
  • Provide advice to the Post-Sales team regarding customer issues
  • Provide general support as needed including on non-commercial matters, which may include assisting with drafting internal policies and implementing related processes
