NIQ delivers the most complete and clear understanding of consumer buying behavior, revealing new pathways to growth. We are seeking an Associate Client Manager to join our Client Insights team.
Position Overview
As an Associate Client Manager, you will be an integral part of a team of experienced industry insights experts dedicated to delighting clients. Your primary goal will be to support clients in making informed business decisions by delivering analysis and insights on industries, markets, and consumers using NIQ data and tools, adhering to NIQ standards. You will also be responsible for the strong execution of the Service Model and for guiding and coaching more junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Tool Proficiency: Act as a master of proprietary NIQ tools and metrics, leveraging them to solve clients' business questions.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with CS Consultants to transform customer experience.
- Analytical Delivery: Independently respond to business questions during briefing sessions and develop analytical outlines that integrate multiple NIQ solutions into a cohesive narrative.
- Insight Communication: Simplify and visualize data, translating numbers into compelling stories for clients with insightful callouts and actionable recommendations.
- Presentation Standards: Prepare and present insights/recommendations according to Academy Silver graduate level standards, efficiently using SCQA and AP frameworks.
- Customer Satisfaction: Drive customer satisfaction through the analysis and delivery of relevant and impactful insights.
- Lead Generation: Independently identify revenue leads and partner with AD to convert them into revenue opportunities.
- Service Model Execution: Execute the service model strongly and proactively remove roadblocks.
- Mentorship: Lead by example, guide, and coach junior team members.
- Initiative Leadership: Champion an initiative within the business unit, provide guidance to peers in that specific area, and be accountable for delivering against related KPIs.
- Thought Leadership: Lead Thought Leadership Projects.
- Client Briefing Management:
- In-Market: Ensure client briefings are received as per the briefing form with all areas completed. Probe clients to understand the real issues and guide/support junior team members in this process.
- Hub: Ensure briefing documents are received from in-market teams with all areas complete. Seek clarity from in-market teams and guide/support junior team members in this process.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industry experience in the CPG industry and/or related sales, category management, or market research.
- Prior experience with NIQ (or similar) solutions in the analytics space, including POS/Panel Data, is preferred.
- Proficiency in pulling, analyzing, and incorporating relevant NIQ data sources (e.g., RMS, Homescan, Omni, Spectra).
- Proficiency in utilizing Discover and assisting clients in diminishing/eliminating concerns and roadblocks to drive usage.
- Ability to coach others in data analysis and working with NIQ tools.
- Curiosity and a passion for building data-driven stories to answer questions.
- Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets/Slides.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
- Digital savvy and a fast learner of concepts, tools, and analyses.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
