Requirements

  • Must reside in MA, RI, CT, ME, VT, or NH
  • Maintain all licenses required by the State Department of Insurance or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Grow your own book of business with provided leads
  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities through analysis and discovery
  • Participate in sales meetings to review sales activities and effective rounding efforts
  • Develop a full working knowledge of personal lines products and procedures
  • Present proposals in a professional manner, reviewing coverages in detail to ensure understanding
  • Maintain an understanding and knowledge of the insurance industry and underwriting criteria for Insurance Company Partners represented by the firm
