Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment, training, and ongoing development of a high-performing team for culinary and retail needs

  • Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire repeat visits and customer loyalty
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience by leading a customer-focused, Guest Obsessed culture
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain satisfaction and loyalty
  • Partner with the General/Store Manager to develop and implement strategies, including merchandising, marketing, and customer engagement, to exceed sales and financial goals
  • Analyze daily performance metrics, apply insights to drive results, and lead team follow-ups for execution
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals, contributing to store revenue via KPIs like sales volume, average transaction value, and conversion rates
  • Assist with daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, minimize shrink, and ensure proper product merchandising
  • Ensure store safety and cleanliness, addressing maintenance needs promptly
  • Assist with maintaining accuracy and integrity of associate records, including time and attendance, food safety certifications, and personal information
  • Model and ensure all company policies and SOPs are communicated, maintained, and followed by associates
