Requirements

  • Full-time availability including weekends

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to store financial performance including product merchandising/stocking, expense control, sales, and profitability goals
  • Manage front-end operations to ensure accurate purchase recording, trained employees in shrink control and customer service
  • Work with Store Manager to execute Annual Operating Plan and deliver sales/profit results
  • Supervise and coach employees for efficient, friendly service at registers and throughout the store
  • Consult with Store Manager and HR on progressive discipline and termination
  • Ensure compliance with personnel policies and procedures
  • Assist in AOP budgeting process and achieve budgeted sales, profits, and shrinkage control with front-end emphasis
  • Participate in annual inventory process including preparation and execution
  • Train front-end and other employees on required programs
  • Ensure staff compliance with company policies, procedures, SOPs; maintain safe, well-maintained facility
  • Provide day-to-day direction to floor employees including schedules, goals, sales/shrinkage targets, and results
  • Plan in-store demonstrations including preparation, set-up, sampling, and suggestive selling
  • Assist in overseeing product receiving, returns of damaged/expired items, and timely restocking
  • Maintain merchandising programs such as promotional ends, signage, and market-specific programs
  • Communicate merchandising and marketing programs to employees and oversee execution/follow-up
  • Analyze monthly store reports for controllable expenses and performance; address variances with action plans partnering with Store Manager
