Requirements

  • A Part A licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
  • 5+ years of pharmacy experience, with leadership or management experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to lead, support, and coach staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and collaboration
  • Proficiency in Kroll and comfort working with pharmacy management systems
  • Committed to accuracy, patient safety, and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

  • Support hiring, scheduling, and performance management to build a high-performing pharmacy team
  • Take charge of onboarding, training, and team development, including creating SOPs and reference materials
  • Oversee daily workflow and uphold compliance with federal/provincial regulations and company standards
  • Step in as pharmacist-in-charge, liaising with regulators, auditors, and third parties as needed
  • Participate in performance evaluations and foster a feedback-rich, growth-oriented environment
  • Collaborate on supply management, inventory audits, and asset upkeep
  • Supervise prescription preparation and dispensing, ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality
  • Provide expert medication consultations and support clinical services
  • Lead reporting and resolution of prescription incidents with a proactive mindset
  • Help shape a team culture rooted in collaboration, compassion, and continuous improvement
