Requirements

Integrate Lush leadership practices (be authentic, curious, confident, adaptable, talent-cultivating, determined) in all interactions with customers, staff, and operations
Support the store management team in all areas as needed and delegated by market leader
Act as right-hand to the manager, taking over tasks to support operational excellence, positive customer and staff experiences, and sales growth
Demonstrate business acumen and understanding of indicators/reports to influence profitable results through sales floor behaviors
Be responsible for personal development, performance evaluation, seeking feedback, resources, and opportunities to improve skills, knowledge, and competencies
Actively network, recruit, hire, and succession plan in markets for high-performing staff
Collaborate with manager on staff engagement, retention, performance, and equity, diversity, inclusion practices

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team on plans to exceed daily sales targets and ensure unique, inclusive customer experiences where every person feels welcomed, heard, and satisfied
Grow the brand in-store and through community engagement/initiatives by educating customers/staff on brand values (anti-animal testing, freshest cosmetics, ethical sourcing, 100% vegetarian, handmade, naked products) to increase foot traffic
Improve product knowledge and provide informed recommendations meeting customer needs
Be present on sales floor to support team, answer questions, remove obstacles, resolve issues, and motivate to achieve sales goals
Be authentic in sharing needs/feedback with team/leaders and adapt to business needs
Mobilize team at all levels to inspire/motivate, build colleague/customer relationships, and connect to brand values
Help management team ensure store compliance with company standards on opening/closing, time/attendance, product integrity, respectful workplace, health/safety protocols, and daily communication
