[Remote] Assistant General Counsel - Product at Kraken

The Assistant General Counsel - Product will provide end-to-end legal advice for Kraken products, including Listings, Onchain, and Embed, from ideation through launch and lifecycle changes. They will serve as the direct responsible individual (DRI) for product development and engineering sub-pods related to Listings, Onchain, Embed, Desktop, and Breakout. Responsibilities include reviewing marketing and promotions for these products across the US, UK, and EU, conducting regulatory perimeter analysis to determine necessary permissions, disclosures, or structuring, and creating playbooks, templates, and risk assessments to accelerate compliant product shipping. The role also involves advising on and writing regulatory analyses for the US, EU, and UK concerning onchain products, supporting product ideation and design, and reviewing output from token listings GPTs to provide a final legal seal of approval within relevant compliance frameworks like Bitlicense, US securities laws, and MiCA.
