Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role within the automotive, tire, or agricultural machinery industry
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of the agricultural sector and farm tire market dynamics in India
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel extensively within the Jodhpur region
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of local language (e.g., Marwari/Hindi) is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for farm replacement tires in the Jodhpur area
  • Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities to expand the dealer network within the assigned territory
  • Managing, supporting, and motivating existing dealers to drive sales performance and ensure consistent product availability
  • Conducting regular market visits to assess customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities, and sharing timely insights with management
  • Organizing and participating in dealer meetings, product training sessions, and promotional events to strengthen market engagement
  • Monitoring and analyzing sales data, preparing reports on sales performance, market share, and competitor analysis
  • Ensuring timely collection of payments from dealers and effectively managing credit limits
  • Collaborating with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company objectives
  • Maintaining in-depth product knowledge of Goodyear’s farm replacement tire portfolio and competitor offerings
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
