Requirements

Candidates should possess an Associates or college degree in a STEM field of study or equivalent experience, along with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and 2 years of leadership experience preferred. They must have working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical motors, pumps, fans, blowers, and conveyors, and the ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA). Familiarity with lean manufacturing and process improvement techniques is also required, alongside excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related applications.

Responsibilities

The Area Manager will ensure a safe working environment, maintain process and product quality metrics, meet volume targets, develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), provide training and development to team members, ensure proper maintenance program in place, manage tooling and costs, drive continuous improvement efforts, and staff their area while maintaining a set budget.
