Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in IT delivery, consulting, or program management, with at least 3+ years leading large Application practice or portfolio
  • Proven track record in growing the business with deep customer relationships in minimum 1-2 industry verticals preferably FSI, TMT, Auto & Manufacturing
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional delivery initiatives
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and AI/ML project lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver high-impact outcomes
  • Continuous learner with an interest in emerging AI trends and technologies
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Information Technology related discipline) preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as Project Management/Agile, Cloud / AI preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational execution
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Oversee delivery of Applications practice ensuring service levels, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently met
  • Partner with clients to define business outcomes and align delivery with strategic objectives
  • Drive end-to-end delivery and operational excellence parameters across Application engagements in the Americas driving a AI first approach across development, modernization, testing and management
  • Collaborate with Account Delivery Managers and technical leads to ensure effective execution and governance
  • Manage delivery resources, budgets, and timelines across multiple workstreams
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and process optimization leveraging AI and analytics
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery, ensuring timely issue resolution
  • Contribute to account planning, financial performance tracking, and client satisfaction reporting
  • Build strong client relationships to drive incremental growth and expand DXC’s footprint in Applications
  • Stay current on emerging trends in cloud data platforms, generative AI, and advanced analytics to inform strategy and delivery
