RingCentral is seeking an Applications Solutions Architect to serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise and strategic customers. This role focuses on designing and supporting application integrations and custom solutions, collaborating with various internal teams to ensure RingCentral's platform aligns with customer business goals. The company is a $2 Billion annual revenue organization with significant investment in AI-enabled technology, including its proprietary RingSense AI solution.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering or technical consulting role, preferably within a SaaS or UCaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and application integration best practices.
  • Experience with at least one major programming/scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Node.js).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience with RingCentral products or competitors in the UCaaS/CCaaS space.
  • Knowledge of telephony concepts, SIP, and VoIP protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives on pre-sales technical engagements with prospective customers.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand customer workflows, technical environments, and integration needs.
  • Design custom solutions utilizing RingCentral APIs, SDKs, and third-party integrations.
  • Deliver compelling product demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and architectural designs tailored to customer use cases.
  • Provide technical guidance for RFP/RFI responses and solution workshops.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing feedback for product improvements.
  • Support post-sale transitions and ensure smooth handoffs to implementation and support teams.
