Requirements

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network operations (3–9 years preferred)
Strong understanding of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
Knowledge of route filtering, redistribution, and summarization
Understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and WAN connectivity
Familiarity with Cisco IOS CLI, QoS, and configuration standards
Experience with Cisco Meraki
Good to have: Knowledge of Cisco Viptela
Basic experience using Splunk for reviewing network logs and events
Comfortable working with NOC tools, ticketing systems, and remote troubleshooting utilities
15 years full-time education
Certification in one of: Cisco CCNP ENARSI (Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services) or Cisco CCNP ENSLD (Enterprise Network Design)
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with 24x7 operations
Strong documentation and presentation skills
Process-driven approach with attention to compliance and governance

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 support for routing-related incidents across enterprise WAN/LAN environments
Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and static routes
Assist in implementing routing changes, path selection policies, QoS, and configuration updates
Provide support for Cisco Viptela and Meraki
Understand hybrid connectivity topologies; maintain and troubleshoot cloud interconnectivity
Use basic Splunk searches to analyze logs, troubleshoot routing anomalies, and support incident diagnosis
Coordinate with service providers for circuit-level escalations and performance issues
Monitor and track link availability, interface status, and routing tables
Maintain documentation including network topology diagrams, SOPs, and incident records
Ensure tickets are updated with resolution details and escalated as needed within SLA timelines
Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application
Accurately define client issues and design resolutions based on deep product knowledge
