Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • 15 years full-time education (Bachelor's Degree or higher in Science/Computer Science/Electronics or relevant field)
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Network Operations (Must-have skill)
  • Good knowledge and troubleshooting experience of MPLS, BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, GRE, IP Sec tunnels, QoS, Nexus/Switching concepts
  • Basic knowledge and troubleshooting experience of Firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet), VPN Technologies
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues on large enterprise networks
  • Understanding of ITIL framework and processes
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow
  • Exposure to various Network Management Tools (HP, Splunk etc.)
  • Experience with Cloud Network Operations (Good-to-have skill)
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and configurations
  • Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Ability to analyze and interpret network traffic patterns
  • CCNA/CCNP certification (advantage)

Responsibilities

  • Handle 24/7 Network Operations as per shift timings, including weekend support
  • Take ownership of incidents assigned to the queue in ServiceNow
  • Perform Level 1 troubleshooting and update tickets in a timely manner
  • Pass on tickets/incident details to the next level of escalation within SLA
  • Develop and provide trend data and analysis on various reporting within the team
  • Participate in client and service management reporting as required
  • Perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Actively participate/contribute in team discussions
  • Contribute to providing solutions to work-related problems
  • Proactively identify and resolve application issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for support processes
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance support services
  • Act as software detectives, identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems
