Candidates should have experience in the automotive or financial industry, with experience managing offshore development teams and familiarity with web and application servers, NoSQL databases (MongoDB, MySQL), system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, business processes, and the software development lifecycle. A strong understanding of ITIL-based IT service management best practices, cloud-based computing (specifically AWS), policy compliance for SOX and Audit, and at least 2 years of experience summarizing information visually through presentations are also required. Experience working with outsourced 3rd party suppliers, translating requirements into technical solutions, and in a product owner/business-analyst type of role is necessary, along with the ability to work with technology and business SMEs to document processes and data requirements.
The Application Owner will act as the application expert, evolving its configuration to meet changing needs and supporting ongoing enhancement and maintenance, including scope management. This role involves obtaining requirements, prioritizing and planning app feature development and releases to meet business goals, and leading the delivery and maintenance of the product by managing internal and external teams. Responsibilities include demonstrating direct responsibility for all aspects of development and release management, including project management and financial control, and delivering IT projects throughout their lifecycle. The Application Owner will manage application controls, service levels, access rights, and overall operations, lead support for production issues, and partner with other departments. They will also document application architectures, maintain compliance with methodologies and policies, support audit teams in remediation efforts, and participate in internal/external audits by gathering samples and submitting documentation.
