The Application Engineer will provide intermediate-level IT services, including system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases. Responsibilities include integrating third-party products, translating technical specifications into code, writing programs, developing code, testing artifacts, and producing reports. The role involves employing software development techniques to support automation, elevating code to various environments, providing production support, submitting change control requests, and documenting processes. The engineer will follow software development methodology and architecture standards, participate in design, code, and test inspections, and engage in systems analysis activities. Understanding client business functions and technology needs, as well as Vanguard's tools and applications, is crucial. The position also requires learning and complying with IT policies and procedures, and participating in special projects.
