Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, and have a minimum of 7 years of experience in analytics engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong experience with data warehousing technologies, cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and SQL is required. Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline development is also essential.

Responsibilities

As an Analytics Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of analytics engineers, fostering their professional development, and guiding them through challenging situations while celebrating their successes. You will also directly participate in technical initiatives, shaping the Data organization at Monzo and ensuring the team focuses on valuable work with a high level of care and attention to detail. Furthermore, you will deliver best practices across the data discipline and collaborate to implement Data Governance principles, ultimately building a reliable and scalable Data Warehouse to support decision-making and provide a competitive advantage for Monzo.
