  • Prior experience in Indirect Taxation
  • Commerce Graduate / Inter-CA / MCom / CMA with 4-7 years of experience
  • Advanced MS Office skills

Responsibilities

  • Independently handling GST compliances, including amendment in registration
  • Preparation of data, review, and filing of monthly returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B)
  • Addressing queries of consultants related to input and output transactions before finalizing liability
  • Coordinating details of advances received and adjusted against subsequent billing for monthly GST liability
  • Identifying ineligible credit from input register and removing it
  • Reconciling GLs with returns data
  • GST Credit reconciliation, including compiling details, sending mails, and calling vendors for resolution
  • GST Audit (GSTR-9/9C): Compiling details for annual GST audit based on monthly returns and books of accounts; providing reports on inputs and expenses
  • GST Assessment & Appeals: Handling assessments involving data preparation, documentation, liaisoning with GST officers, preparing submissions with senior guidance, monitoring notices/assessments and timelines
  • Miscellaneous advisory services on GST applicability, tax rates, HSN codes, and input credit allowability
  • Drafting replies to SCN and appeals up to First/Second Appellate Level
  • Filing GST monthly returns (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B) of clients, filing based on GSTR-2A & GSTR-2B for ITC, preparation of GSTR-9 & 9C annual returns
