Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector, in implementing and maintaining the Environmental and Integrated SMS Management System, environmental licensing processes, environmental impact studies related to biodiversity, MA and SMS indicators, internal and external MA and QSMS audits
Knowledge of technical standards and legislation on Environmental Licensing applicable to the oil and gas sector
Proficiency in handling computerized environmental licensing systems
Basic knowledge of reading in English
Knowledge of Microsoft Office package software
Ability to communicate with communities and make presentations
Ability to work in a team
Knowledge in ecology and sustainability projects
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Oceanography, Chemistry, or related fields
Postgraduate degree in Environment, Occupational Safety, Quality, SMS, Oil and Gas, Planning, Project Management, Auditing, Expertise and Environmental Licensing, Biologist, Cytologist, Hydrobiologist, Histologist, Insectologist, Microbiologist, or related fields

Responsibilities

Perform Analysis and Planning Services for Operational Management and Environmental Licensing to maintain natural resources with a focus on Biodiversity preservation, ensuring the useful life of projects by establishing conservation priorities and promoting the development and application of methods, processes, and techniques for conservation, monitoring, and environmental management, as well as biological, chemical, and oceanographic methods related to works, installations, and structures in all phases of the company's projects
Conduct ecological and sustainability analyses for issuing technical opinions, analytical processes, risk assessments, and environmental audits, lead work teams, and prepare technical reports and documentation for presentation to competent authorities
Act directly in Environmental Licensing and Monitoring related to Biodiversity
