Requirements

  • Leadership and strategic direction experience in sales for process industries (Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Forest Products, Metals, Mining, Cement)
  • Ability to develop growth strategies and execution plans with priorities, measures of success
  • Experience recruiting, retaining, developing, and performance managing sales teams
  • Strong business and financial knowledge impacting business outcomes
  • Expertise in targeted industries and applications
  • Ability to build and maintain key executive relationships with customers and partners (Solution Partners, Systems Integrators)
  • Proficiency in CRM tools for monitoring orders, revenue, forecasts, and pipelines
  • Experience in account planning, sales forecasting, budgeting, and market analysis
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment from Houston, Texas office
  • Reporting to Regional Vice President, Industries

Responsibilities

  • Develop the execution plan, including definition of industry execution priorities and measures of success for process industries
  • Lead sales team to achieve or exceed order and revenue targets; monitor and report via CRM monthly
  • Build and motivate sales organization through resource deployment, recruitment, performance management, and talent development
  • Identify key accounts and establish/implement account plans
  • Ensure accurate sales forecast and pipeline exceeding AOP
  • Participate in setting annual budgets and manage markets for profitability
  • Evaluate and adjust marketing strategy and sales plans for changing market conditions
  • Collaborate within Rockwell to implement strategic growth initiatives
  • Engage at key customers and opportunities for success
  • Recruit, develop, and performance manage staff to exceed sales goals
  • Support employee development through training and development plans
  • Demonstrate/role model industry expertise to sales teams
  • Develop/maintain key executive relationships for long-term success
  • Own executive relationships with key Solution Partners and Systems Integrators
  • Coordinate cross-territory/region/country pursuits with sales teams and partners
  • Analyze local market information and provide market intelligence, sales reports, forecasting
  • Document competitive landscape by geography/industry with pursuit strategy
