Requirements

  • Proven experience in a capacity planning, network design, or supply and logistics analytics role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team lead capacity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced proficiency in Databricks
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI (dashboard creation, data modelling)
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (data extraction, transformation, and analysis)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Experience with network optimisation tools or simulation software is a plus
  • A proactive, strategic mindset with a passion for operational excellence

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Capacity Analysts, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ensure the logistics network has the right capacity in the right locations to meet both current and forecasted demand from stores and customers
  • Oversee the development, validation, and enhancement of network capacity models to support both tactical and strategic planning
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial to align capacity planning with business objectives
  • Drive the standardisation of data sources, reporting processes, and modelling methodologies across the team
  • Evaluate and implement network optimisation tools and techniques to improve logistics efficiency
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, compelling manner
  • Monitor key performance indicators and proactively identify capacity risks or opportunities
