Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute localized business strategies for air supply, primarily in Australia, in consultation with Senior Air Account Managers, to optimize partner relationships and position Expedia Group as the partner of choice
  • Build relationships with locally strategic airline partners, including key decision-makers, and handle day-to-day interactions with portfolio partners primarily in Australia, including regular one-on-one meetings
  • Proactively source, secure, and operationalize more competitive content with strategic/key partners in the region, and manage competitor analysis to ensure competitiveness of air supply deals
  • Interpret data related to performance of products, services, and solutions against partners' needs/expectations to ensure partners recognize and receive value
  • Assist in creating opportunities (e.g., progress meetings, exploratory meetings) to strengthen performance of local airline partners’ accounts, including recommending products and insights
  • Work with Regional Account counterparts to adopt scalable and impactful business rhythms to manage regional accounts at scale
  • Identify Expedia Group’s products, services, and solutions that best benefit airline partners, and present value propositions using data, case studies, and key value propositions
  • Learn contract negotiation process and complete contractual arrangements, partnering with Senior Air Account Managers and/or legal resources
  • Acquire and maintain working knowledge of financial data and standard commercial constructs
  • Collaborate with Senior Air Account Managers and Directors to deliver Strategic Account Plans and regular business reviews for select shared accounts, including providing data, market insights, analysis, initiative selection, assessment, and preparation/presentation
