Requirements

Candidates should have 2-5 years of hands-on software development experience, ideally in Python, with proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production. A strong understanding of AI architectures, orchestration frameworks, and deployment strategies is required, along with deep familiarity with statistical metrics, performance evaluation, and data-driven experimentation. Comfort working across cloud platforms and containerized environments is also necessary. Additionally, candidates must be confident and empathetic communicators, skilled at managing multiple client relationships and deliverables simultaneously, and possess experience in fast-paced startup or consulting environments. The candidate must be based in the Buenos Aires area.

Responsibilities

The AI Field Engineer will lead the design and implementation of custom AI solutions that extend and complement the core SaaS platform. They will collaborate closely with client engineering teams, often embedded within their workflows, to build and optimize production AI systems. Responsibilities include defining and monitoring statistical metrics, KPIs, and heuristics to track model performance and business outcomes, as well as diagnosing and resolving complex technical challenges across diverse architectures and environments. The role involves managing 3-4 concurrent client projects, balancing timelines, priorities, and executive-level communication, and partnering with sales and product teams to scope new engagements, develop service packages, and define best practices.
