Requirements

Candidates must have 8+ years in software engineering, data engineering, or platform engineering/infra, with 5+ years of experience in Python. A minimum of 7 years of experience with Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, etc.) and 5+ years of experience deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines are required. Additionally, 1+ years of experience building production-ready, AI-powered products at scale, including hands-on experience with foundational AI models, orchestration and safety frameworks, and vector databases, is necessary. Strong and effective communication skills are essential. Familiarity with Typescript, experience in Healthcare or other regulated environments, familiarity with event-driven architectures, and experience contributing to early-stage team growth are preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

The AI Engineer will design, deploy, and scale generative AI solutions to impact patient care, collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Data Engineering, and Application Engineering teams. This role involves owning the full lifecycle of GenAI solutions, from prototyping and building scalable data pipelines to developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring production-ready solutions. Responsibilities include ensuring solutions meet quality standards, balancing innovation with operational excellence, experimenting with new approaches, and ensuring deployed solutions are robust, cost-effective, and compliant with privacy and regulatory standards. The engineer will build early prototypes, expand AI impact across the organization by creating reusable frameworks, optimizing performance, and identifying new opportunities to enhance the platform and patient outcomes.
