Solution Engineer - Identity Security

Position Overview

SailPoint is experiencing hyper-growth and is seeking an additional Solution Engineer in Switzerland to join our DACH SE-team. This role is crucial in supporting our direct and indirect sales efforts by leveraging your thorough understanding of Identity Security and excellent communication skills to articulate the value of SailPoint solutions to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the sales process, working closely with direct and channel sales teams.
• Discover and understand customer requirements, aligning SailPoint solutions to meet those needs.
• Present SailPoint's business functions, value proposition, and competitive differentiation.
• Provide compelling product demonstrations to prospective customers.
• Assist in developing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Participate in onsite and remote Proof of Concept (POC) evaluations.
• Provide feedback to Product Management regarding product enhancements.

Requirements

• Languages: German and English are mandatory. French is a significant advantage.
• Experience: Proven track record in pre-sales roles supporting large/complex organizations over several years.
• Identity Security: Understanding or experience in Identity Security and key identity principles.
• SaaS Solutions: Understanding of how SaaS solutions operate.
• IaaS Environments: Understanding or experience with IaaS environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• AI-driven Solutions: Understanding or experience with AI-driven solutions.
• SAP: SAP and SAP IDM know-how would be an advantage.
• Technical Infrastructure: Working knowledge of technical infrastructure including application servers, databases, and directories.
• Business Value Articulation: Strong ability to understand, articulate, and demonstrate business value and market differentiation.
• Mindset: Growth mindset with a desire for continuous learning and skill development across an expanding product portfolio.
• Personal Attributes: Positive, confident outlook, enjoyment of teamwork, excellent written and communication skills.
• Presentation Skills: Comfortable presenting professionally to a wide audience, including technical and C-level executives.
