Candidates must have 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience, proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or cloud software solutions, and experience collaborating with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services. They should also possess territory management skills, understand State and Local Government, be able to handle challenging customers, have deep attention to detail, be well-organized, and have experience leveraging or critically thinking about integrating AI into work processes. Travel may be necessary.
The Solution Consultant will support State and Local Solution Sales, guiding revenue for assigned products by acting as a technical and domain expert during sales cycles. This includes developing and positioning product-specific solutions, leading discovery workshops, giving product demonstrations, answering technical questions, and providing feedback to product management on enhancements. They will also share best practices, stay current on competitive analysis, and support marketing events.
