Responsibilities
Develop, service, and maintain a base of local clients and/or agencies who purchase advertising space or media services to achieve annual sales goals within assigned sales team
Offer zone buying to allow small advertisers to reach customers in their retail trading areas
Seek new customers by continuously prospecting following company's planned sales strategies and tactics
Analyze, develop, and present market research and advertising proposals to support client activities and products
Assist in developing marketing activities to generate local ad sales revenue
Interact with various internal departments to carry out client requirements, such as scheduling advertising; monitor account activities and manage collections
Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records and participate in development of sales forecasts
Complete required documentation and reporting for processing contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls, and expense reports
Analyze confidential information, prepare reports, manuals, agendas, and general correspondence
