Demonstrated experience in financial leadership, managing teams, leading external audits, and driving process improvements is also necessary.
The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll, and manage the month-end close process. This role involves preparing financial statements in compliance with GAAP, supporting annual audits, and monitoring internal controls. Responsibilities also include overseeing grant accounting, supervising accounting staff, collaborating on budgets and forecasts, and recommending process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency.
