Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and lease accounting
  • Experience with healthcare claims billing
  • Proven history of automating manual processes and creating efficiencies
  • Comfortable working with multiple business partners
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experience with NetSuite, Airbase, or Cube (bonus points)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Revenue Cycle Management on the process and potential automation of reconciling claims and payment data across internal systems
  • Oversee and execute accurate revenue recognition in alignment with GAAP and Brightline’s healthcare reimbursement models
  • Partner with FP&A to develop reports, explain trends, and provide data insights to ensure accurate and timely forecasts
  • Lead traditional accounting functions for the month-end close and ensuring accuracy
  • Improve cash and balance sheet reconciliation processes, documentation, and timeliness
  • Create scalable, cross-functional processes across the business to support growth and audit readiness
  • Analyze, maintain, and strengthen the internal controls framework across the company
