Requirements

Undergraduate degree in Accounting (CPA and/or MBA with solid accounting experience considered in lieu)
Two to five years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting/finance
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with ability to assimilate easily into teams
Strong technical skills and working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting
Effective analytical and critical thinking abilities
Entrepreneurial nature, self-motivated, ethical, and dependable
High energy with commitment to quality client service

Responsibilities

Work as part of a team with CFGI professionals, Big 4 auditors, and client management on engagements
Analyze financial information, interview client management, identify key issues, write reports, participate in meetings, and develop client relationships
Prepare operational due diligence for complex transactions (e.g., acquisitions, divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises, IPOs)
Handle accounting projects focused on carving out business units/subsidiaries
Integrate with client’s internal staff as a subject matter expert on operational senior accounting tasks or financial team support
Prepare financial and regulatory information per SEC and regulatory requirements (e.g., 10K’s, 10Q’s, S-1 and S-4 filings, audit coordination)
Conduct research and documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards
Perform process improvement projects and implement changes
