Requirements

  • Field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division in Little Rock, AR
  • Ability to lead commercial selling activity targeting Electrophysiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, and Interventional Radiologists
  • Skills in influencing hospital stakeholders, driving product utilization, supporting contracting, relationship development and management
  • Capability to support clinical selling, procedure case service, physician onboarding, early case coverage, and training
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies based on product, competition, and pricing factors
  • Ability to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and unit growth objectives
  • Coordination with Clinical Specialists and reporting to Regional Sales Director
  • Knowledge of market dynamics and competitive activity

Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned territory meets or exceeds sales objectives and delivers profitable growth/market share aligned with quarterly and annual plans
  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities and business potential to achieve annual sales objectives
  • Lead all commercial selling activity for the Vessel Closure portfolio, including small and large bore arterial, venous, and future products
  • Influence stakeholders within hospitals and drive product utilization in key growth categories, including sales/placement of capital
  • Support contracting efforts to gain favorable positions in territory accounts
  • Drive market development in new product segments and launches
  • Meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans for existing and potential accounts
  • Negotiate contracts with hospital customers
  • Keep the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity
  • Provide secondary support for clinical selling activity and procedure case service
