As we expand globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices worldwide, empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, people, and patients.

Dandy is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing team and delight our customers: dentists across the country. You will receive new customers directly from sales and will quickly build a portfolio of over 200 accounts. Our Super Solo segment specifically serves single-location accounts with multiple doctors.

As the owner of your book of business, your primary focus will be on driving Net Revenue Retention (NRR) by proactively fostering strong customer relationships, providing consultative solutions to customer needs, and activating new user (doctor) growth. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Training, and Customer Support to drive customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Book Management

  • Drive NRR through strategic account planning and proactive customer engagement.
  • Utilize data and customer feedback to analyze your book of business and formulate a customer engagement plan.
  • Employ a mix of service and sales skills to manage the doctor experience during critical moments of Dandy’s customer journey.

Commercial Sales

  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your given book of business.
  • Drive activations of more users/doctors within a practice.
  • Drive sales of additional scanners within a practice.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with doctors at key accounts to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Provide consultative solutioning and negotiate commercial terms with doctors through a nuanced understanding of their goals and feedback.
  • Experiment and execute on churn reduction strategies.

Clinical Knowledge

  • Deeply understand the operations of a dentistry practice and the competitive market of digital dentistry to better engage with doctors.
  • Possess the ability to speak the language of clinicians to problem-solve and be a partner to customers.

Continuous Improvement

  • Experiment with tactics, talk tracks, and use cases to continuously improve customer retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as customer support and training to better serve customers.
  • Collect feedback and disseminate learnings back to the company to drive product enhancements.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in the dental industry in Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, or another role that interfaced directly with dentists.
  • Track record of upselling and growing your account portfolio.
  • Enjoy talking on the phone with clients for over 60% of your day.
  • Desire to dive deeper and understand customer pain points.
  • Comfortable analyzing data and using dashboards to inform decisions and outreach.
  • Enthusiasm for experimentation and iteration to hone your craft.
  • Highly motivated, performance-driven individual.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Some travel may be necessary to attend Dandy offsites, industry events, and to visit customers.
