Requirements

  • Field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division in Austin, TX
  • Ability to lead commercial selling activity targeting Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, and Interventional Radiologists
  • Skills in influencing stakeholders within hospital settings
  • Capability to drive product utilization, sales/placement of capital equipment, and market development for new products
  • Experience in supporting contracting efforts and negotiating contracts with hospital customers
  • Ability to support clinical selling, procedure case service, physician onboarding, training, and early case coverage
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing sales strategies based on product, competition, and pricing factors
  • Competence in meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and unit growth objectives

Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned territory meets or exceeds sales objectives and delivers profitable growth/market share expectations aligned with the Annual Plan
  • Work with and report to the Regional Sales Director to identify/evaluate market opportunities and business potential
  • Lead all commercial selling activity for the assigned territory, promoting the full Endovascular portfolio (atherectomy, thrombectomy, base peripheral, and future products)
  • Influence stakeholders within the hospital, drive product utilization, support contracting, develop and manage relationships, and own sales target achievement
  • Support clinical selling activity, including clinical differentiation, value proposition, product launch, physician onboarding, early case coverage, and training
  • Drive product utilization in key growth categories and sales/placement of capital to support utilization
  • Support contracting efforts to gain favorable positions in territory accounts
  • Drive market development in new product segments and launches
  • Meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Coordinate activities with Clinical Specialists and keep the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity
