Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in medical device or imaging sales
  • Experience selling products, services, parts, solutions, or projects within a geographic area (medium-sized sales territory: Malaysia)
  • In-depth knowledge of sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups
  • Knowledge of best practices, competition, and market differentiation factors
  • Strong analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy
  • Ability to use judgment, propose solutions outside set parameters for complicated day-to-day problems
  • Ability to prioritize information for decision making using technical experience and analytical thinking
  • Ability to use multiple internal and limited external sources for decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for winning business in medium-sized sales territories (Malaysia) with some autonomy, covered by well-defined Commercial policies or review of end results
  • Allowed modification of procedures and practices as long as end results meet standards (annual volume, margin, and compliance requirements)
  • Sell product(s), services, parts, solutions, or projects as customer-facing staff
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements
  • Explain information and develop skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field
  • Convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues
