Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in healthcare communications, ideally within a PR agency setting, with a deep understanding of the Canadian health and pharma landscape, including regulatory considerations. Strong experience across pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer health brands is required, along with excellent writing and content development skills, a strong attention to detail, and familiarity with stakeholder engagement including patient advocacy groups, influencers, and inter-agency partners.

Responsibilities

The Account Manager will serve as the day-to-day client contact, leading execution, communications, and collaboration across teams, developing and delivering integrated PR strategies, campaigns, and content across traditional, digital, and social channels, leading the planning and rollout of media relations, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy programs, writing and editing compelling materials including messaging, media kits, presentations, and digital assets, managing campaign timelines, budgets, suppliers, and reporting with precision, contributing to new business development through research, proposal writing, and pitching, mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment, and potentially contributing to health policy or public affairs campaigns.
