Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of proactive, customer-facing or account management experience, or 5+ years of relevant customer-facing or account management experience. Strong experience managing a portfolio of accounts and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets is required, along with demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver a customer-centric solution. Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) is also necessary.
The Account Manager will serve as the primary post-sale point of contact for Thumbtack high-value professionals, overseeing their onboarding and driving adoption of the platform. They will understand professional’s strategic goals and challenges, providing education, advice, and communication to maximize their Thumbtack experience. The role involves prioritizing outreach efforts to mitigate churn and drive revenue growth, building and executing account plans, introducing new product features, and proposing expansion opportunities. Additionally, Account Managers will share best practices, translate pro feedback into product requirements, and handle escalations, coordinating with various teams including Sales, Product, and Customer Support.
