Requirements

  • Experience selling a solid technical product to technical buyers in the public sector, especially Federal US Government
  • Ability to manage the entire sales cycle from qualifying to close in Federal accounts
  • Proficiency in qualifying inbound leads and demonstrating product value in the CI/CD lifecycle
  • Skills in outbound prospecting within a designated territory (North America, including Canada)
  • Experience evolving strategic account plans for existing Federal accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and expand renewals
  • Ability to leverage existing relationships in State government departments to identify new business opportunities
  • Collaboration skills with sales development resources, partners, and the North American Channel team
  • Experience working with solution engineering teams to run successful enterprise solution trials
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Clari for accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle (qualifying to close) in Federal accounts
  • Qualify inbound leads for new opportunities and demonstrate the value of Sonar products in the CI/CD lifecycle
  • Conduct outbound prospecting efforts within the designated territory to find new sales opportunities
  • Evolve strategic account plans for existing Federal accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and expand renewals
  • Leverage existing relationships in State government departments to find new business in additional departments and agencies
  • Collaborate with sales development resources and partners to identify new sales opportunities within the territory
  • Work with the solution engineering team to help prospects run successful trials of enterprise versions of the solution
  • Use Salesforce and Clari to accurately forecast new business within the month and quarter
  • Work with new inbound and outbound public sector sales opportunities in the designated North America territory
  • Leverage existing public sector customers to expand their footprint and find new public sector business
  • Coordinate with strategic partners and the North American Channel team to grow the public sector footprint in North America and Canada
