Role: Account Executive, Expansion, Mid-Market (MM)

This role is responsible for driving growth within existing mid-market accounts through upselling and cross-selling. The Account Executive will focus on strengthening client relationships, understanding business objectives, and delivering customized solutions. This position reports to the Team Lead of Sales and is crucial for significant revenue growth and reinforcing Deel's client value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and articulate product value.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for renewals, upsells, and cross-sells, leveraging cross-departmental expertise.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure client needs are met.
  • Proactively engage cross-functionally to contribute to new product development, client engagement, and competitive intelligence strategies.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and yearly revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate data in Salesforce (SFDC) for accounts, opportunities, pipeline, and forecasts.
  • Resolve client complaints and prevent future issues by improving processes.
  • Act as a client advocate, focusing on enhancing the buyer experience.
  • Build rapport and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of sales experience, with a focus on mid-market account management or expansion-focused roles.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in mid-market organizations.
  • Consultative Sales: Experience using a consultative approach to understand client needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
