Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in public relations or a related communications field and at least 2 years of experience in PR, with agency experience being preferred. Proficiency with Cision and/or Muckrack is a must, along with excellent writing skills and proven success in building media relationships. Experience monitoring traditional and social media coverage, working directly with clients, and an interest in corporate/B2B and financial technology are also required. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, results-driven, strategic, and eager to learn and teach.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will support clients with corporate-facing work, collaborating within the team and providing sound counsel and recommendations. Responsibilities include developing a comprehensive understanding of client accounts, driving results through traditional and emerging PR tactics, and managing media relations programs. This role involves crafting pitches, developing media lists, writing and editing media materials, planning and implementing events, and supervising junior staff. The Account Executive will also manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and budgets, and stay informed about client business strategies and industry trends.
