Requirements

  • Passion for improving and expanding vision treatments
  • Ability to represent AMO Sales and Services, Inc. to appropriate customer base in a designated geographical area (e.g., Charleston, Columbia, Myrtle Beach, SC)
  • Expertise in surgical and refractive techniques, technical product support, in-service programs, and innovative educational programs
  • Compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures
  • Ability to prepare and provide detailed sales/procedural/financial presentations to new and existing customers

Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales goals through creative, consultative selling and implementation of U.S. marketing plans, with major emphasis on increasing sales of Monofocal and Refractive IOL’s, Phaco, OVD, adjunct products, and new technologies
  • Provide technical product knowledge and in-service support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Effectively utilize all Johnson & Johnson sales specialists to enhance productivity and provide optimal customer satisfaction
  • Work synergistically with all other Johnson & Johnson sales personnel in additional SBUs for co-selling efforts to strengthen customer value
  • Comply with required reports and requests; effectively manage Johnson & Johnson field assets including consigned products, surgical instruments, surgical equipment, sales force automation, ancillary items; operate territory within budgetary guidelines
  • Demonstrate an independent, creative, and consultative/value-based sales approach to selling IOLs, Phaco equipment, viscoelastics, and surgical adjuncts
  • Work synergistically with Laser Vision Correction Group counterparts to provide customers with a full product solution, with selling time consistent with current year marketing plan
