Candidates should possess 4+ years of experience selling to large-scale customers, with proven success in a customer-facing sales role proposing enterprise solutions at all levels. Demonstrated ability to sell to State and Local Governments and Educational Institutions, leverage AI tools for productivity, and collaborate with customers and technology partners is required. Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office, and other CRM tools, along with excellent communication and self-starter skills, is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred. The role also requires the ability to travel as needed and proven experience in negotiating, proposing, and closing client contracts.
The Account Executive will develop and manage a sales pipeline, generate revenue by selling Cohesity solutions, and work with channel partners to penetrate accounts and close business. Responsibilities include defining and implementing sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities. The role involves developing and presenting proposals to customers, showcasing the value of Cohesity's hyper-converged infrastructure solution, and driving account strategies while coordinating team selling efforts with partners.
