Requirements

Candidates must possess proven sales expertise with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in territory or account-based roles, and have 3+ years of experience in sales, territory management, or business development. A hunter mentality, strong relationship-building skills, data-driven decision-making abilities, and excellent organizational and prioritization skills are essential. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting systems, along with strong presentation and negotiation skills, is required. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license and passport and be comfortable with approximately 60% overnight travel across Canada and into the U.S. Residency in Alberta or British Columbia is also required.

Responsibilities

The Territory Sales Manager will develop and manage sales strategies to achieve company goals, drive sales growth, brand development, and market leadership by overseeing daily sales operations, executing territory plans, and securing new accounts. Responsibilities include regularly visiting and calling prospective and existing customers for sales and support, providing sales training to retailers, managing regional key accounts through joint business planning and promotional execution, and developing territory sales target lists. The role also involves liaising with distributor sales representatives, targeting accounts based on revenue potential, assisting retailers with merchandising and purchasing, participating in trade shows, coordinating in-store promotional events, and resolving retailer issues and complaints.
