Requirements

Candidates should possess native-level Japanese language skills with JLPT N1 proficiency, including the ability to converse and write in Japanese, as well as intermediate-level English language skills for internal communication. They should have at least one year of customer support experience, a strong understanding of networking issues and troubleshooting, knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, and familiarity with Windows and Linux/UNIX operating systems. Preferred certifications include Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and CCNA, CWNA, and experience with Salesforce.com Service Cloud and knowledge of routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, and BGP.

Responsibilities

The Technical Support Engineer (TSE) will provide technical support for Extreme Networks products, particularly wireless and NAC solutions, via phone, email, and web channels. They will manage service requests, conduct investigations and problem resolution, and escalate issues as needed. TSEs will update the knowledge base, provide basic network configuration and product information, and continuously learn while maintaining a results-oriented mindset and promoting teamwork. They will also serve as the first point of contact for customers, guiding and supporting them effectively.
