Responsibilities

  • Provide onboarding support for PayPay’s services for merchants, including Mini Apps and PayPay Online Payments.
  • Act as the technical lead for merchants’ products during their release, collaborating with development teams and payment gateway providers.
  • Manage the entire product development lifecycle, from 2 to 5, as follows:
    1. Business and sales teams agree on PayPay adoption.
    2. Product requirements are agreed upon.
    3. UI/UX and technical sequence are reviewed.
    4. Development, testing, and release.
    5. Ongoing growth after release.
  • Primarily responsible for stages 2 and 5.
  • Utilize diverse common features provided by PayPay for merchants, including SDKs and backend APIs.
  • Provide technical support to merchants, ensuring the realization of optimal products from both a user and merchant perspective.
  • Specific Tasks:
    • Explain PayPay APIs, SDKs (online payments, PayPay Points) to merchants and payment gateway providers.
    • Provide onboarding and support throughout the release process.
    • Explain Mini Apps and PaaS specifications, utilizing personas and user journeys to determine UI/UX and technical sequences.
    • Respond to inquiries, provide testing support, and support growth post-release.
    • Collaborate with merchants and PayPay business teams on joint projects.
    • Create integration documentation.
    • Address merchant inquiries and optimize response efficiency.
    • Enhance developer efficiency through the developer website.
    • Provide support for developers who are introducing PayPay products.
