Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, specifically focused on platform integrations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for customer-facing interactions, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently is required. Proficiency in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and integration is necessary, as is experience with relational database systems, particularly PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server, and a solid understanding of database design principles.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, Platform Integrations, you will support the rapid expansion of Flock Safety’s workload by integrating with various data sources, including computer-assisted-dispatch (CAD) systems, 911 live calls, automated vehicle locator (AVL), vehicle hotlists, and other alerts. You will contribute to the developer hub by creating and maintaining APIs, and you will be responsible for organizing, tracking, and delivering multiple projects in parallel, ensuring seamless data synchronization between disparate systems.
