This role offers the opportunity to join a dedicated team of Workday professionals within the Integrations Continuous Value Services (CVS) consulting practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about client success and enjoys tackling complex integration challenges. You'll focus on helping customers maximize their Workday investment by optimizing integration operations, extending system functionality, and deploying new integrations to meet evolving needs. The team fosters a positive, collaborative culture and is committed to customer success.

Requirements

  • Experience: Ideally 3-5 years of consulting experience.
  • Passion: Passion for exceptional customer service.
  • Troubleshooting: Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Certifications: Holds active Workday Integration and Extend Certification (Workday Studio strongly preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Project experience in a technical or techno-functional role using SOA tools.
  • Web Service Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc.).
  • Education: B.A. / B.S., Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or other engineering discipline preferred.
  • Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations.
  • Detail Orientation: Strong detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Excel Skills: Outstanding Excel skills.
  • Management: Ability to effectively manage multiple clients and operate in a dynamic, growing ecosystem with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the day-to-day activities of Workday integrations/Extend support for various customer contracts, potentially including staff augmentation, ad-hoc support, and project delivery.
  • Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns to project management.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate clients on developing and operating interfaces to and from a SaaS platform.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices.
  • Evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the technical impacts of integration configuration decisions.
  • Become a Workday Integrations expert with deep knowledge of core functionality and an understanding of Financials, Learning, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent modules.
  • Mentor other consultants by actively sharing product knowledge.
  • Work directly with key business and IT stakeholders to establish requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions, and ultimately configure, test, and deploy integration solutions.
