Requirements

Candidates should possess experience in developing new financial services within the retail banking sector, along with a strong understanding of retail financial markets and leadership experience in strategic planning and new service development. Interest in emerging technologies and innovative approaches is also required, as is experience with new business development in the financial sector, restructuring and transformation initiatives, and negotiating with international partners and customers. Strong business English skills, such as a TOEIC score of 800 points or higher, are desired.

Responsibilities

The 金融事業開発担当(銀行領域) will lead the development and growth of new services leveraging synergies between PayPay, PayPay Securities, PayPay Card, and PayPay Insurance, collaborating directly with business unit heads within PayPay Bank to drive rapid decision-making and project management. They will contribute to the creation of value-added services unique to the PayPay Group, drive the evolution of PayPay from a payment app to a financial super app, and contribute to the strategic planning and execution of PayPay’s financial strategy, consolidating PayPay Bank as the leading retail bank in Japan through strategic integration with other PayPay Group companies.
